Our client, an international market leading data and security company, are currently recruiting for a NETWORK SUPPORT TECHNICIAN . This position combines a project and support role, with daily operational requirements in the UK. Responsibilities: You will manage the office and production networks on UK sites in line with company standards. Manage servers and infrastructure components on UK networks. Ensure production infrastructure compliance Prepare and lead logical audits on UK sites Deliver local technology projects Maintain up to date technical documentation on the network including; network topology/diagrams, back-up and restore procedures, security procedures, operation/support procedures. Knowledge / Experience: To succeed in this role you must have strong knowledge networking and server management. Be familiar with server deployment and administration and firewall management (Cisco ASA/ Juniper). Knowledge and experience of building SAN environments. Knowledge of Active directory (DNS, DHCP, NTFS permissions) The role attracts a highly competitive salary, car allowance and bonus scheme. Working hours: 37.5 hours – Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm). Hourly rate: Call (D.O.E). You must complete a DBS & Financial check (expense covered by the client), and be able to provide work history to cover the previous 7 years.
