Job Details £14,822 – £16,874 per annum for 24 hours per week (equivalent full time salary is£22,233 – 25,567 per annum) based at Quadrant Court, 35 Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey, GU22 7QQ. This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2021 (subject to the continued receipt of external funding). About the Role We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual to provide the Active Surrey team with both office management and administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the Active Surrey office, will provide PA support to the Director and senior management and will deliver efficient and effective customer service through our programmes, events and training. Active Surrey is the lead agency for physical activity and sport in the county, and is committed to getting more people, more active, more often. We are looking for someone who is methodical and organised, with strong customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a business management or administrative qualification and experience of working in an office management or PA role. Key responsibilities will include: Arranging team, Board and committee meetings, including issuing papers, taking minutes and communicating with attendees Providing PA support to the Director and the Senior Management Team Ensuring the office is managed efficiently Supporting the introduction and set up of Active Surrey’s new Customer Relationship Management system Providing customer service, administrative and occasionally operational support in the delivery of Active’s Surrey programmes, events, training and conferences. Active Surrey, part of the national County Sports Partnership (CSP) Network, is a not for-profit organisation, hosted by Surrey County Council. Based at Active Surrey’s office in Woking, part of the job also involves travelling around the county for meetings and events. The ability to travel between sites across the county is therefore required for this post. Travel costs are reimbursed. The work will also include a small number of unsociable hours, including occasional weekend and evening work.
