Rate of Pay: £9.97-£10.91 per hour Post 1: Casual/Relief (6 positions available) Various enjoy sports centres across East Lothian Working on an ‘as and when required basis’ covering early morning, late evening and weekend shifts as required There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week with casual posts Post 2: Part time permanent post Musselburgh Sports Centre Working a 2 week rolling rota covering early morning, late evening and weekend shifts Hours will be in the region of 20 per week with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week Post 3: Part time permanent post Loch Centre, Tranent Working a 2 week rolling rota covering early morning, late evening and weekend shifts Hours will be in the region of 20 per week with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week Post 4: Part time permanent post Aubigny Sports Centre, Haddington Working a 2 week rolling rota covering early morning, late evening and weekend shifts Hours will be in the region of 20 per week with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week These posts are advertised on behalf of enjoy leisure. To supervise the use of the facilities to maintain high levels of safety, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Please download the attached Job Outline/Person Specification for the exact duties and tasks required of the post Job Requirements Relevant Qualifications Essential: RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience. Desirable: Scottish Swimming Teaching Aquatics Level 1 or 2 qualification If not already attained there is a requirement, within 3 years of starting in post, to obtain both the UKCC Level 1 and UKCC Level 2 Swim Teacher qualifications. PVG Membership This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
