Job Vacancy Based in Dalkeith you will be expected to undertake the full range of Criminal Justice Social Work duties including preparing reports for the Courts and Parole Board, supervision of those subject to statutory orders including Community Payback Orders, and Statutory Licences (one a one to one or group work basis). KNOWLEDGE A professional qualification in Social Work and registration with the SSSC as a Social Worker is essential. An understanding of crime, its causes and impact on society; principles for effective practice; principles of risk management and risk assessment alongside awareness of National Outcomes and Standards for Criminal Justice Social Work Services is also essential. Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £32,253.50 per annum.
