Security Processing Analyst – ICG £182.76/day PAYE | £227.68/day LTD 6 Month Rolling Contract The Role To carry out monthly bond amortisation calculation used for our Client’s Authorised Funds. This will include the validation of standing data, adjustments and advising Valuations of the postings to Multifonds on a timely basis. Carry out review/analysis of current callable bonds in order to enhance process. The role holder will also undertake reviews of daily processes and support internal projects and process improvements. The Team The COE Effective Interest Rate Team carry’s out daily effective interest rate calculations on fixed income securities which are used for fund reporting purposes in addition the team also carry s out effective income calculations which are used on the preparation of Distribution and Underlying yields as per Investment Association Standard of Operating Practice (SORP) recommendations. Key Responsibilities Identifies and suggests process improvements Assists in the implementation of validated process improvements Anticipates and responds to requests and deliverables with internal and external clients. Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Carrying out validation process and instructing posting to Valuations Team on a timely basis Comparison of current callable bond universe between Static Data and Bloomberg, including monitoring of Yield to Worst Dates and Reporting codes Preparing, delivering, monitoring and evaluating Client specific packs, for final, interim or other ad hoc dates as required Contributing to the improvement of systems, products and services Ad-hoc projects / tasks.
