Propositions Manager The job: Principality is going through an exciting period of change to ensure we can continue to add value for our members and meet our growth aspirations. To help deliver this we are looking for an ambitious and experienced Propositions Manager to join our growing team to develop some exciting new savings and mortgage products and service propositions. The role holder will work across the business using customer and business insight to design and then deliver profitable and differentiated propositions that offer real member value. Gaining exposure at all levels of the business the Propositions Manager needs to be a good communicator with a real passion for customers’ equally comfortable working in cross-functional teams or on their own. What you will do: Design, develop and deliver compelling and differentiated product and service propositions. Support the team in the continual development of the propositions roadmap. Work in large cross-functional teams, often managing them in the initial stages of development whilst planning the key stages of the proposition development process. Develop business cases with the Finance Team. Work with the Research and Insight Teams to ensure all propositions are grounded in a customer and organisation need. Budget and KPI management to ensure we hit targets and objectives. Work closely with the Product Team to ensure any product propositions meets their requirements and fits within the product range. Help forecast the impact of the proposition on operations and channels. Develop the customer experience aspirations alongside the CX Team and operations teams to ensure customers’ end-to-end journeys are as simple as possible. Work with The Communications Team to develop the messaging hierarchy, creative, communications and launch campaigns to gain awareness and drive customer take up. Continually improve the Proposition Development process. Monitor economic, technological, customer and market trends. Maintain an awareness of the Society’s policies and procedures and adhere to them. Accountable for ensuring that all new propositions align to regulatory and organisational standards. Any other reasonable management request. What we are looking for: PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Demonstrable track record in developing propositions or new products for distinct consumer segments. Experience working in Financial Services or within the regulated service industry is desirable. Experience in building business cases, financial plans, forecasting, project planning and managing budgets. A good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research and co-creation approaches is desirable. A good understanding of key metrics and KPIs that align with successful customer propositions. Track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders – product, channels, IT, change, design, marketing communications, legal and compliance. Experience working in agile teams desirable. COMPETENCIES Must display a passion for the customer. Solid understanding of technology and project management.
