Requirements Provide a reception, building management, caretaking and security service for Council buildings. Checking the identity and authorisations of all contractors and Fife Council staff working in the buildings. Taking delivery of parcels and arranging for them to be taken to their destinations within the buildings. Assisting with the handling and transportation of mail and parcels. Dealing with telephone calls and requests from building users. Dealing with telephone enquiries. Monitoring outside activity via television screens and take action where necessary. Basic IT skills (Embrace technology and information) Assisting with all security-related and health and safety procedures. Undertaking handyperson duties as directed including arranging the layout and removal of equipment and furniture. Being responsible for the secure holding and issuing of keys. Undertaking snow clearing of access areas. We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £8.51 per hour for this post.
