Job Advert An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Social Care Officer within the Care and Support at Home Service. As a Social Care Officer; you will be responsible for the assessing and planning of outcome based assessments and reassessments which are effective in promoting independence; and meeting individuals desired outcomes and aspirations. You must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels taking into account the variety of complex, contentious and sensitive situations that occur both internal and external to the organisation. You must have the ability to prioritise your workload and work without constant supervision, and in addition, work under pressure and to strict deadlines. You are required to commit to a rostered working pattern including weekends over a 7 day period; which consists of 10 days worked over a 14 day period in the Central Locality which incorporates the following areas, Camelon, Bainsford and Falkirk. The current shift times being 9am until 4.54pm The contracted hours of the post are 37 hours per week over a 2 week roster period. The post will require periods of lone working.
