Hotel Room Attendant

Our client has a part time vacancy for a hotel room attendant to join their team to achieve high quality cleaning standards and offering top class customer service within their hotel accommodation areas. This is a zero hours contract. Duties and responsibilities include: To clean, to the agreed standards in all hotel accommodation areas; to maintain areas in a clean, tidy and hygienic state, including bed making, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, cleaning bathrooms/showers and WC’s, removing rubbish To report all maintenance faults and health and safety concerns to the Housekeeper To maintain security and safety of allocated area and keys, ensuring keys are not left unattended at any times To ensure that lost and left property is bagged, recorded and given to the Housekeeper To go the extra mile to offer top class customer service The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and standards driven individual with a pride in their work: A professional approach to work Excellent personal presentation befitting of the organisation Standards and customer care focused Excellent eye for detail Determination to succeed Good communication skills Excellent organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work safely and tidily Approachable and cheerful personality with can do attitude and ability to resolve problems at the required level Able to work individually and as part of a team Knowledge of health and safety ideally including COSHH, risks in housekeeping tasks, manual handling would be desirable Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
