Living Wage Renfrewshire Council supports payment of the Living Wage of £8.75 per hour as the minimum level of remuneration to its employees . Therefore, successful applicants will be paid the ‘Living Wage’ – (the Hourly Rate for the post + a Living Wage Pay Supplement, in order to bring their earnings to £8.75 per hour). Advert Based at Community Meals Service, Unit 11, Baltic Park, Murray Street, Paisley. Driving council vehicles, you will deliver hot meals and snacks to clients across the Renfrewshire area, comply with all Health and Safety in relation to food hygiene, maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and equipment, ensure vehicles are properly fuelled and road worthy and complete appropriate records. You must be a flexible, reliable and patient person with an understanding of the needs of older or vulnerable people; be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and be flexible in your approach to the job. A clean current driving licence and the ability to pass the council’s driving assessment are also required. This service is provided 365 days per year and you will be required to work split-shifts on a rota basis including working early evening and weekends. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
