Our main products, Testbase and Exampro, are used by teachers across the country and also in international schools.

We are looking for an individual with at least three years digital marketing experience to help us make an impact and enjoy an opportunity to thrive and hone core marketing and design skills.

Based in London (with a fair hybrid working policy in place), we are looking for someone to support our head of marketing and head of web development with all forms of promotion. 

About the role

As the Digital Marketing and Design Assistant you will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and be able to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution. 

You will also need to be well organised, switching design and marketing hats on projects,  planning and preparing campaigns to be delivered via channels including email, print, social media, web content, and other marketing-related tasks.

This post requires someone with sound judgement who enjoys organisational and digital design content tasks, someone who can be confident and personable when communicating whether in person, over the phone or email. You will also enjoy multitasking, prioritising workload and forward planning in a fast paced and dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and monitor digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email (inc monthly newsletters), social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Report performance of marketing campaigns to measure and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Transform mock-ups into fully functional and responsive web pages using CMS (WordPress and other) and update existing website content
  • Follow style guidelines and design systems to create engaging email, social media and website content using Adobe Illustrator
  • Help manage print design when needed
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing and using CMS (WordPress or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising marketing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments, trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools to help monitor and generate useful reports and insights
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools and experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns (eg Google Adwords/Twitter)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript constraints
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and other equivalent packages
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in data-driven thinking

Competencies/Experience

  • Ability to organise own work and deliver engaging content to deadline
  • Good attention to detail
  • Work well with a team (collaborating and sharing materials using Google suite)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • High level of numeracy/social media exposure
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • At least 3 years digital marketing experience desired
