Business Development Executive – Retail and/or FMCG sector

Blue chip retailer clients include, Sainsbury’s, Asda, The Cooperative, Spar and Global FMCG companies, such as Unilever, PepsiCo and Heineken Already a profitable business, with a strong, experienced and visionary management team who have built an exciting international growth plan and following a forthcoming equity transaction, will join, a holding company within the WPP family, providing scale, access to clients and a route to accelerate even further. Requirements To develop opportunities with new customers, manage the sales cycle and lead all new business development opportunities, reporting to the Group Revenue Officer. Manage full-cycle sales process, prospecting, opportunity development, needs analysis, solution creation, product demonstration, negotiation, contracts and close. Identify opportunities to improve the offer to even better meet customer needs and share these with clients – land and expand. Manage a process of first class client engagement, including day to day communications (email, meetings etc) and preparing for and participating in regular client reviews SPECIFICATION Ideally you will have at least 5 years experience in a role where you have led Sales, new business campaigns, either in an agency, retail marketing, advertising or software sales environment. Experience selling services and software to Retail and or FMCG sectors. History of consistently exceeding individual sales goals and targets Demonstrated experience in working with C level executives linking business outcomes to technology transformation. High level of comfort preparing and leading client presentations at all levels.
